about

Everybody has their reasons.

lyrics

Verse 1
The freshman said “Hey, where do I go?
You could fill up the ocean with what I don’t know.
I want to be noticed, but I also don’t.
There’s so much I ain’t done but not much I won’t.”

CHORUS
We march to the mountains, we march to the beach.
Soon we will savor that sweet victory!
All justice be served and debts will be paid,
At the end of the High School Safety Pin Parade.

Verse 2
The sophomore said “This is the truth.
I’m filled up with knowledge and the wisdom of youth.
I will be noticed, just you wait and see!
My deeds will be written, I’m legendary.”

Verse 3
The Junior remarked “Well, that’s happening.
So much commotion, everybody watching.
Looks like a good time, and I guess I agree.
I’ll show up to show up, and see what I see.”

Verse 4
The Senior said “We’ve got to do something.
We can’t let this stand, history’s watching!
The world will remember the depth of our sins,
So get on your feet, and stick on your pins.”
